Terms of Participation

Welcome to WIP (Work in Progress). By participating in our activities, events, or workshops, you agree to these terms.

WIP is a volunteer-run, non-profit cultural association committed to creating inclusive, sustainable, and respectful spaces for mindfulness, yoga, and community connection.

Scope of Application

These terms apply to all participants in WIP activities, including yoga classes, workshops, events, retreats, and community gatherings held in person or online.

Voluntary Participation & Liability

All participation in WIP activities is voluntary and at your own risk. Participants are responsible for their own health, safety, and well-being during activities.

WIP and its volunteers, teachers, and organizers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during or as a result of participation in our activities. Please consult with a healthcare professional before beginning any new physical or wellness practice.

Participation of Minors

Minors (under 18 years of age) may participate in WIP activities under the following conditions:

• Minors aged 14–17 may participate with written parental or legal guardian consent.
• Minors under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
• Parents or guardians are responsible for the behavior, safety, and well-being of their children during WIP activities.

WIP reserves the right to request proof of age or parental consent at any time.

Conduct & Community

WIP is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. All participants are expected to:

• Treat all participants, teachers, volunteers, and organizers with respect and kindness.
• Refrain from disruptive, discriminatory, or harmful behavior, including but not limited to harassment, intimidation, or intoxication.
• Respect the physical and emotional boundaries of others.

WIP reserves the right to ask anyone to leave an activity or event if their behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.

Special Events & Workshops

Some events or workshops may require prior registration or have specific participation requirements (e.g., donation, skill level, health considerations). Details will be communicated in advance via our website, social media, or email.

Donations

WIP operates on a donation-based model. While donations are voluntary, they help sustain our activities and community. Suggested donation amounts are provided as guidance, but no one is turned away due to inability to contribute financially.

Photos & Videos

WIP may take photos or videos during activities for promotional, educational, or archival purposes. By participating, you consent to being photographed or filmed.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed:

• Please inform the organizers or teachers before the activity begins.
• You may request that images or videos featuring you be removed from WIP's platforms by contacting us.
• WIP will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests, though removal cannot be guaranteed for content already shared publicly.

Photos and videos may be used on WIP's website, social media channels, newsletters, and promotional materials.

WIP respects your privacy and will not share personal information without consent.

Amendments

WIP reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and communicated via our usual channels. Continued participation in WIP activities constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these terms or participation in WIP activities will be resolved in accordance with Spanish law.
